Where did you grow up and where do you live now:

I grew up in Homestead Florida and lived there until 1992 until hurricane Andrew came through and destroyed our town. I was 21 years old and had a small metal refinishing business. I lost everything I had and although this was a very difficult time in my life, it lead me to where I live now. Beautiful Blue Ridge Georgia, I have been very blessed to be able to raise my family here and call this place home.

Tell us about your family:

I am a very lucky man to have been blessed with such a wonderful family. My wife Rachel is truly the love of my life. Rachel is the Postmaster of the Blairsville Post office. Skyler is my oldest Daughter and is attending Law school in Ga. State. Mariyah has graduated from North Ga. and now works for Brown Haven homes. Tristan has started his freshman year at Ga. Southwestern and Kayley is in the fourth grade. God has been very good to me and I try to thank him daily for such a wonderful family.

What do you like about inspecting homes:

I don't do very many inspections anymore but what I do like about our inspections is that we are able to help people with one of the largest financial decisions that they will make, a home purchase. We take this very seriously and our inspectors are trained and equipped with the most up-to-date tools and education to give you the best inspection that we can.

What advice would you give to a home buyer:

Take your due diligence seriously, and gather all the information you can on the home. I don't just mean a home inspection, there are septic companies that will test your system, pest control companies to check for termites. You only have so much time and then you're under contract.

Never skip the home inspection! Lean on your realtor to help you get quotes for repairs and ALWAYS listen to your gut.

Where did you grow up and where do you live now:

Born, raised, and still live in Blue Ridge.

Tell us about your family:

I'm the youngest of 4 kids. I'm married to Jessica and we have one son, Barrett.

What do you like about inspecting homes:

Helping clients make an informed decision before purchasing a home.

What advice would you give to a home buyer:

Do not forgo a home inspection when buying a home. It's better to know upfront if the home has any issues rather than find out a year down the road that the home you purchased is in need of costly repairs.

What do you like about inspecting homes:

I grew up on construction sites with my father and wanted to continue in that type of field. There's nothing like the smell of new construction!

Maintenance, maintenance, maintenance!!!
